 These galleries are organized into groups.

  • Gallery 1 showcases items that have personal memories associated with them





    • Gallery 2     shows carvings just for demonstration purposes. I have very few pictures of the carvings that I did in the past. I am planning to be more of a picture taker in the future and will display some of my resent work in this area.




    Anna is a gallery about my granddaughter. No, not because I am so proud of her. It is much more than that; I just do not know an English word for it… If you know any grandparents, just ask them.



    Historical Carvings     includes pictures of carvings mostly from historical Hungary, particularly from Transylvania where the “székely” people did some wonderful things going back centuries, and their art is being rediscovered and given new life.

In this gallery I show some of my “firsts”. This carving is a ”first” from two aspects: my first try of a relief and my first try of a human head.

This picture was carved as a present for my husband. It was an experiment. The book “Scroll Saw Portraits” by Gary Browning has this pattern. I used mostly freeform chip carving techniques to create it.
