This clay model is being created as part of the Book Project by Ontario Wood Carvers Association. The book will be a step-by-step instruction about creating a clay model and will present different ways of doing a finished work from the model. The teacher is Fred Zavadil, and I am acting as the student. This is how the model looks like after 7 hours of work.

And an other 5 hours later. Total time so far is 12 hours on the project. The heads are approximately 2/3rd of life size. So far it has 36 lb of clay built into it.
